Chapter 4. VMS Webserver
Setup: Windows
Click the button to show the Setup Dialog.
1. General: Choose whether to run the server on system startup and let the watchdog monitor the server operation.
2. Restart: Choose whether to restart the web server at the specified time on selected weekdays.
3. VMS Connection: Enter the access information for the VMS server, including the address, port, and user account information.
4. HTTP Server: Configure the basic settings for the HTTP server, including the port number, whether to use file caching, and the local httpdoc path.
· Allowed Origins (CORS): URLs of client web servers. e.g., http://192.168.1.3:80, http://yours.com
5. HLS Stream: Choose channels for HLS streaming and configure the HLS settings. For more details, refer to the WebAPI document.
· Live Stream Channels: Set the live channels for HLS streaming. A sub-stream can be specified by appending its index in parentheses; otherwise, the primary stream is used. e.g., 1,3,10-16{1}
6. Log: Choose whether to record logs, set the expiration for old log files, and specify the local path to save files.
7. Etc.: Choose the UI scale and language.
